“Art is not always about pretty things. It's about who we are, what happened to us, and how our lives are affected.”
HEY THERE, NEW FRIEND!
I see beauty in the messy moments—the ones that go unnoticed and pass too quickly. As a mother, a wife, and a creative, I know just how quickly time slips away.
That’s why I specialize in capturing the real, the raw, and the unforgettable.
Whether it’s the quiet moments or the chaotic ones, my goal is to preserve the memories that matter most to you—just as they are.
THE HEART BEHIND THE LENS
I’ve always been a storyteller. I picked up a camera when I was fifteen, not really knowing then that it would become such a huge part of who I am. But it wasn’t until I became a mom that I truly understood the weight that photos can carry.
After losing my grandfather unexpectedly, I found myself wishing—aching—for just one photo of him with my daughter. Something to hold. Something to remember. That regret still sits heavy on me, and it’s a big reason why I do this work the way I do now.
I believe in slow, intentional sessions filled with emotion, movement, and honesty. I believe in legacy—creating images that your kids and grandkids will someday cherish. I believe Jesus gives us beauty in everyday moments, and I want to help you see it too.
I’m not here to make you pose perfectly or force a fake smile. I’m here to tell your story, as it is. Messy, beautiful, sacred, and real.
TINY TRUTHS & RANDOM FACTS
Comfort shows are my background noise and my therapy.
Charmed, Criminal Minds, Gilmore Girls—you name it. I rewatch the same ones on loop because starting something new feels like emotional risk I just can’t take right now. Bonus points if it’s dramatic, cozy, or someone’s solving crimes in a trench coat.
I crochet like I’m 87 and proud of it.
Give me yarn, a hook, and something vintage playing in the background, and I’m in my happy place. I was 1000% born in the wrong decade. If you’re looking for me, I’m probably making something lumpy and love-filled with a cozy blanket over my lap like your grandma’s cooler, anxious great-niece.
I’m from the magical forests of Oregon. Now I live in... Kansas.
Yep, I traded mountains for cornfields and foggy mornings for flat horizon lines—all for love. The transition was a lot, but so worth it. Still miss the pine trees though. A lot.
I cry while editing. A lot.
If your session hits me in the feels (spoiler: it will), you can bet I’m tearing up while choosing your images. I’m a big feeler, an empath to my core, and this work pulls on every string in my heart. Every photo means something to me. Every story stays with me.
Frequently Asked (and lovingly answered):
How long have you been doing photography?
I started when I was fifteen—back when I was taking moody senior photos of my friends and editing on a laptop that barely ran Photoshop. Since then, I’ve grown a business, a family, and a heart for capturing the in-between moments that matter most.
Do you help with posing?
Absolutely—but not in a stiff, prom photo kind of way. I’ll guide you with gentle prompts so you feel relaxed, connected, and like yourself. Less “cheese,” more “oh wow, that’s us.
Do you cry while editing my photos?
It’s… highly likely. I’m an empath to my core. When your toddler presses their forehead to yours or your partner looks at you with that quiet love? Yeah, I’m a goner.
Are you based in Kansas?
Yes! I’m originally from Oregon but now live in Kansas with my husband and our three wild, wonderful kids. We traded pine trees for prairie skies—and even though I still miss the mountains, this is home.
Will we become friends?
If you love cats, cozy nostalgia, and rewatching the same shows forever while romanticizing your entire life—probably yes.
What kind of sessions do you love most?
The ones with real connection. I love working with families, couples, and mamas—especially when there’s movement, emotion, and maybe a little chaos. If your kid brings a rock collection or your baby won’t stop drooling, we’re already off to a great start.
If my story resonated with yours…
I don’t take it lightly when someone trusts me with their memories.
If you’ve read this far and felt a tug at your heart—like maybe we’d get along, or maybe I’d be the right person to tell your story—then I’d love to hear from you.
Whether it’s a season of motherhood, a love that runs deep, or a chapter you never want to forget, I’m here for it. Let’s capture it together.
